Kalliope LAB

Voice-driven innovation lab.

Kalliope LAB is the division of Kalliope capable of developing ad hoc projects, bringing together expertise in UCC, semantic, process automation, QoS and QoE measurement.
The know-how developed with Omnia, Nexus and Lògos finds in Kalliope LAB the necessary synthesis for all those projects in which voice plays a central role in innovation.
The result? Leaner processes, more effective communications and innovation that truly starts with the customer’s needs.

Some of the scenarios

Semantics as a driver of digital transformation

Artificial intelligence has made it possible to move from numerical data processing to a semantic understanding of voice.

A telephone exchange capable of “understanding”what is said enables new ways of building corporate knowledge, intelligent automation and advanced customer care.

Security, deepfake and social protection

Voice has become a vehicle of risk, as shown by recent cases of phone scams via deepfakes. Kalliope’s technological developments include a new architecture capable of enabling the research and development of advanced fake detection mechanisms, transforming the semantic centre into a security guard.

Artificial Intelligence and Process Automation

By integrating UCC, AI and process automation, it transforms the IT infrastructure into a fluid, intelligent and automated ecosystem.

Agile solutions designed to optimise processes and boost productivity.

Some Kalliope LAB projects

EPIC

“A virtual assistant to explore industrial tourism in Prato”
Kalliope, with its subsidiary Awhy, is also among the protagonists of the European project EPIC – Experience Prato Industrial Culture.

JIMINY

A talking cricket for the democratization of artificial intelligence in the customer service sector.

A new generation of semantic business communication systems capable of delivering Enterprise Virtual Assistant (EVA) services powered by knowledge extracted from telephone communications.

D.A.I.MON

D.A.I.MON (Dynamic Artificial Intelligence Monitoring) is a project conceived in response to the MISE call for proposals “accordi per l’innovazione II sportell”, which aims to create a traffic monitoring and analysis system based on Artificial Intelligence.
