Fondazione ITS Prodigi: il primo percorso ITS nell’area ICT e digitale in Toscana
Prodigi is a project of great territorial and training impact that will allow the training of Senior Technicians with high technical and technological skills; a hotbed of talent in the digital world.
An important milestone achieved thanks to the synergy of 30 subjects between higher education institutions, universities, trade associations, companies and municipalities, who identified this new ITS path in the ICT and digital area, which until now had been missing in Tuscany, as a tool for the development of competitiveness and employment in the regional territory.
The name “Prodigi” is intended to recall the concept of the empowerment of children leaving school, but it is also an acronym for “Digital profession”.
This project is the first step towards a vision of Tuscany as a point of reference for digital transformation. As stated by Francesco Oppedisano: ‘The foundation of the Istituto Tecnico Superiore Prodigi on digital issues is the first step towards a vision of Tuscany as a point of reference for the digital transformation of Italian micro, small and medium-sized enterprises.
